Ben Ellis refers to multiple artists. 1: Ben Ellis (now referred to as Ben James-Ellis) is an English actor, singer & dancer. Born in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, Ben trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts in London before auditioning for the BBC's Any Dream Will Do in 2007. The show searched for a new, unknown lead to play Joseph in a West End revival of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ben made it to the semi-finals.
