All Mankind

All Mankind is an indie rock and alternative rock group from Australia, formed in Eastwood, a suburb of Sydney, in 2007. The band takes its name from a line in Pearl Jam’s song “Mankind”. Its sound is often compared with U2, Coldplay, Muse and Keane.

Releases and recognition

The band’s debut album, Puzzles, appears in 2008. Its breakthrough comes with Simple Desire in 2011 and the single “Break The Spell”, which receives wide radio play and is included in the video game FIFA 12 and the television series Gossip Girl. The group continues to release music after its formation, with “Welcome Home” appearing in 2016.

Line-up

The group comprises Richard Beeston on vocals, guitar and keyboards; David Beeston on drums; Daniel “Dorny” Mayes on guitar; and Gavin Perkins on bass.
