Aitch is a British rapper and songwriter from Manchester, known for work in grime, hip hop, trap and UK drill. Born Harrison James Armstrong in 1999, he starts out freestyling with a group of friends in the schoolyard before building a solo career as an independent artist.

He rises to wider attention in 2018 with the track “Straight Rhymez”. His debut studio album, Close To Home, reaches number two on the UK Albums Chart in 2022. He also has nine top 10 singles in the UK, including “Taste (Make It Shake)” and “Baby”, both of which peak at number two on the UK Singles Chart.

The stage name Aitch comes from the pronunciation of the letter “h”, the first letter of his given name.
