Acid Ted
Acid Ted is a UK underground dance music artist who works in acid techno, deep house and electronic styles, with a strong association with 303-driven acid sound. He has been active since the late 1990s.
Early work and soundsystem roots
He begins with the Acid Test free party soundsystem, where he helps circulate an acid-oriented dance music style in underground settings.
Labels, projects and aliases
He later releases material on his Acid Test Pressings label and goes on to establish several related imprints and projects, including Akid Traxx, Pranksterz and Fickle Records. His live duo act Pranksterz forms with Steve Kyte, who is later known as Robosapians. The act is also associated with Identical II and The Pranksterz.
