13 Burning is a heavy metal band from Oxford, UK. Their sound draws on classic heavy metal and sits between old and new school approaches, with clear links to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. The band takes influence from artists including Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Ronnie James Dio and Iron Maiden.

The group’s songs focus on mythology, war and witchcraft, giving the material a dark character. Their music is built around guitar riffs, a prominent rhythm section and heavy bass.

The band releases recorded material under its own name, including the debut single Valhalla and the three-track EP Unholy. Unholy is released in 2020 and follows the success of Valhalla.
