2010 is the year for a revolution! So stand proud with one fist in the air as the take over begins for ‘ENVY OF THE STATE’ You all know we were long established and well known in the UK as ‘NewBreed’ but for legal reasons due to competing bands with the same name in the states we originally decided to change their name to ‘Ever The Joker’ and started to spread the word to loyal fans as we finished recording our Forthcoming album. But with the return of our killer new Album artwork, Album Photo shoot and newly mastered album we made the difficult decision, along with newly appointed top PR company ‘Quite Great PR’ to change the bands name not to ‘Ever The Joker’ But to ‘Envy Of The State’ Lead singer Scott said….. “We really needed a unique name that no one in the world shared and all the domains and social sites were free which didn’t leave us with a lot of choice. ‘Ever The Joker’ kind of fit the bill and reflected our fun side but as the album, artwork and photos came together it drew a different picture and a different name on our short list started to shine so we had to follow our hearts and go with ‘Envy Of The State’. Were all really happy with the new name and it really reflects what were about, the new album is going to blow people away, its really our life’s work coming together for the first time and now we are working with some of the industry’s finest PR company’s and some hot names in the music business were positive 2010 is going to be the year we pay our fans back for their support!”
