Orchestra in a Field

Orchestra in a Field is a unique, family-friendly festival: a kaleidoscopic tour of the world’s best music from Tchaikovsky to Tubular Bells by way of hip hop, handbells and opera.

Held in the sweeping parklands of Glastonbury Abbey, with its romantic ruins, and ancient orchards, this unique event is the inspiration of award-winning conductor, Charles Hazlewood.

Galtres Festival

Galtres Festival - Galtres is one of the best family festivals in the country and takes place near Crayke, a beautiful rural setting overlooking the Vale of York.

There are five stages, lots of local Yorkshire beer, cider and food, plenty for the kids to do and a great range of around 100 more including some emerging local talent.

Epsom Live

Epsom Live! evenings start with six horse races over the world renowned Derby course. The racing is followed by a live outdoor concert at dusk each week, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Epsom Downs. Lollibop Festival

Lollibop festival, it's a festival like no other! Aimed towards children under 10 the Lollibop Festival is like one big playground with activities that advocate the importance of play with parents and families, peer interaction, skill development, creativity and more.

The landscape is filled with giant lollipops, castles, blue trees, fire breathing dragons, great for the treasure hunt, or maybe do some experiments in the lab. There is even a Miniscule of Sound, the world's smallest nightclub, a zoo, a circus and when your worn out from all this you can chill out and eat some lunch in the clouds! Be sure to take all the family to see this amazing fairy tale land!

Leeds Festival

Leeds festival is on par with Reading as One of the Uks biggest Rock festivals. This is one not to be missed. It is partnered with Reading festival and offers the same lineup on alternate days.

Last year see the newly reformed Libertines play a brilliant long awaited return set crammed with all there signature tracks, also Blink 182 headlined and Arcade Fire.

There is plenty of bars/food stalls and lots of shopping stalls to buy some funny hats! A great rock festival with a brilliant mix of artist's and an electic atmosphere to go with it.

Reading Festival

Reading festival is one of the Uk's biggest Rock festivals. Once a mainstream rock/heavy rock festival it now opens its arms up to the indie rock and mixed rock scene with a varied lineup, an excellent dance arena as well. This is one not to be missed. This festival always pulls big acts in to make their lineup that little bit better.

If you haven’t already grabbed yours, you’ll be sure to be clamouring to get your hands on Reading Festival tickets after you check out this year’s phenomenal line-up.

This year’s headliners have to be seen to be believed. The most exciting act taking to the main stage is undoubtedly super-group The Cure, who hit the stage on Friday. 2012 marks the band’s first set at the Reading Festival for 33 years. Other acts headlining on Friday include the dreamy Bombay Bicycle Club, raucous You Me At Six and the chaotic electronic duo of Crystal Castles.

Saturday promises to be just as spectacular as Friday, as festival favourites Kasabian take the floor alongside contemporaries Enter Shikari and Blood Red Shoes. The enigmatic Florence + The Machine’s complex lyrics and soaring melodies are the perfect ice breaker for indie kids The Shins and Mystery Jets. The Vaccines and Odd Future Wolf Game Kill Them All promise to break up the sets with their unique takes on modern punk and grimy street beats.

Closing off the main stage on Sunday is Dave Grohl and the boys of the Foo Fighters – a legendary live act, the Foos wowed crowds at T in the Park last year and look set to do the same with their new material for Reading Festival. The quirky funky sounds of The Black Keys, riotous cries of the Kaiser Chiefs and self-referential rock of The Eagles of Death Metal will also flow freely from the main stage on the last day of the festival.

Rumours still abound that Katy B and Metronomy could be making an appearance and announcements are still sneaking out all the time, so keep your eye on this page to stay abreast of all the developments to Reading Festival 2012’s line-up.

Hopfarm Festival

Hop Farm festival maintains its ethos of no sponsorship and no branding, meaning the guys at Hop Farm have stripped it back to basics to bring you, the punter, a great festival at excellent prices.

With now 3 days of music and camping from from Friday to Sunday you can really get into the festival spirit before, during and after the music stops. Artists are spread across 4 stages with a comedy stage also, fun and games happening all weekend, kids areas, great food and plenty of bars are on offer.

Over the years the line-up has included the great Bob Dylan, The Eagles and more.

Coloursfest

Glasgow's Coloursfest has grown and grown and the event now fills the Braehead International Arena. With 60 DJs mixing tunes in six different arenas to a crowd of 10,000 dancing until all hours this is one party you have to be a part of.

Hard Rock Calling

Hard Rock Calling is an annual music festival that takes place in London's Hyde Park.

With an array of bars and stalls there is plenty going on for all to enjoy. Music normally finished around 10.30pm thus leaving you plenty of time to make your way home on public transport so there's no excuses to miss it,or leave early!! Its going to be awseome.

Eastern Electrics Festival

Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 arrives at the new location in London's Docklands for a huge all day, all out, sunshine fuelled party taking the festival season by storm, and promising to be the event of the year! Join 17,000 people for London’s biggest summer party on Saturday August 4th.

Having launched in August 2008, Eastern Electrics has since hosted three block rocking events each year. The brainchild of two of London’s most prolific and talented club personalities mulletover promoter and pub owner Rob Star and Found and Hidden man Will Paterson, Eastern Electrics is renowned for high production levels and massive genre busting lineups.

After four years of innovative lineups, collaborative promotion and rammed events, it was only a matter of time before Eastern Electrics looked forward to their next step, taking the party up a level, with an event that looks set to surpass everything that’s come before it.
