The Streets, fronted by Mike Skinner, will perform one of their last ever gigs on the Saturday night after announcing the group are to split later this year following the release of their final album back in February.  Their mixture of cool beats and unforgettable lyrics will ensure their reputation for explosive live sets continues when they play at the event, which takes place at the iconic Battersea Power Station.  

Supporting them on the main stage on Saturday night is alternative rock band Everything Everything. The band rose to fame after featuring in the BBC Sound of 2010 poll have since been nominated for this year’s Mercury Prize Album of the Year. With scalding post-punk guitars and floor-filling bass lines, Everything Everything will deliver a show stopping performance at this year’s Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival.

Also on the bill for Saturday is the highly acclaimed three- piece welsh band the Joy Formidable, who boast a dirty, loud guitar sound mixed with symphonic melodies, sure to shake things up on stage. Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival fans can expect the usual blistering live performance the Joy Formidable have become known for.

In addition to the music, the event will also see the world’s best skiers and snowboarders competing on the specially erected 100m long, 32m high real snow kicker, which for two days becomes an iconic site in London’s skyline. The riders will be hurling themselves down the huge jump, performing their best tricks for world ranking points and a share of the prize purse.  Last year saw Brits Paddy Graham in the freestyle skiing and Billy Morgan in snowboarding take victory in the Battle of Britain competition beneath the iconic Battersea Power Station towers.
