Joanna Newsom to headline End of the Road

With Joanna Newsom confirmed for her only festival appearance in the UK this year, all three headliners for the End of the Road Festival 2011 are now in place and more confirmed.

With Joanna Newsom confirmed for her only festival appearance in the UK this year, all three headliners for the End of the Road Festival 2011 are now in place: she joins Beirut and Mogwai in a lineup whose quality, as always, runs right through from the headliners to the smaller stages.

Also announced today are Lykke Li, Best Coast, Emmy the Great and Drum Eyes plus a burst of bands secured by the always-astute team from The Local, namely: Cambodian Space Project, Emanuel & The Fear, Found, Sam Amidon, Sarabeth Tucek, She Keeps Bees, Skinny Lister. More on the line up here.

The 6th edition of the festival will also feature a UK festival exclusive from Midlake - plus appearances from Laura Marling, The Fall, Wild Beasts, The Walkmen, Tinariwen, Gruff Rhys and former Czars singer John Grant as well as comedy, literature, art, peacocks, astoundingly good food and an enchanted wood full of mindbending surprises and the occasional disco.

End Of The Road Festival is a small festival held in the beautiful surroundings of the Larmer tree gardens in Dorset. This festival is all about the music, embrace the surroundings and just enjoy all that's on offer from the lineup. With its unique style of not being commercialised you won't have an invasion of advertisement ruining the setting of what is proving to grow into an amazing festival.
