Resistanz Festival
Resistanz is the brainchild of Corporation’s Phyll Pearman and Leighton James-Thompson. The first Resistanz Festival took place in Sheffield UK at the infamous Corporation venue over the weekend of April 2nd/3rd 2011. A year in planning their objective was simple, establish a line up of bands and dj’s every bit as strong as some of the more established festivals throughout the world, and covering the many subgenres in the modern day industrial scene.
Described by many as the best weekend of their lives, Resistanz Festival clearly left its mark on the industrial scene.
The 2014 edition of Resistanz saw another sell out event and also our biggest line up to date with 22 acts gracing the Corporation mainstage over the course of 3 days. Apoptgyma Berzerk, This Morn Omina, Cyberpunkers, Assemblage 23, Organ Donors and the return (and last ever) live show for Straftanz among many other acts made for yet again another truely unforgetable weekend in Sheffield.
At the time of writing both planning and preperation for the 2015 is well under way. In 2015 you can expect the sort of high calibre line up that Resistanz continues to deliver year after year. Plenty of UK firsts, European firsts, exclusive UK shows and a balanced mix of new and more established acts throughout the weekend.
