Ramsgate Festival

The Ramsgate Festival has emerged from the ashes of the Summer Squall, as it was previously known. The event will continue in the tradition of the Summer Squall and provide and program a variety of art activities, exhibitions, talks and performances across the three days of August bank holiday weekend to celebrate the town of Ramsgate.
2015's three day festival has plenty of activites planned including the London and Brighton based Liberty Choir playing Saturday afternoon, Radio 2 favourite Neil Bryden playing a host of melodic country/ pop tracks on Saturday evening and an impromptu ensemble organ recital with music from the era of the Battle of Waterloo on Sunday afternoon. On Monday join StoryQuest- the walking storytelling event- or the Sticky People Parade on Monday evening which ends with a finale parade on the beach alongside a bonfire.
