Port Eliot Festival Port Eliot Festival

Port Eliot Festival Header

Now in its ninth year, the Port Eliot Festival (previously called Port Eliot Lit Fest) is an annual celebration of words, music, imagination, laughter, exploration, and – above all – fun.

2011 was Port Eliot Festival’s biggest and most successful year to date. The festival has grown each year since it began, attracting a huge range of performers from high-profile household names to the best home-grown local talent. Last year saw the launch of the Paradiso Cinema, set in the stunning gardens created by Humphrey Repton, with an equally breathtaking backdrop of the secret estuary of the River Lynher and Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s striking railway viaduct. In the inaugural year, the film selection was curated by none other than legendary director Martin Scorsese. The 2012 guest curator will be announced soon.
