Drum Camp began life as an educational world music festival back in 1996. It has developed considerably from that time and still has education and world music at its heart, offering a wide variety of different live musicians and musical experiences from Bungay in Suffolk.
Over 36 workshops are organised for 2015, with percussion and dance as their focus and a wide range of world music, acoustic and folk musicians have been added to the line-up including Jose Ferrera's Afro-Cuba, Senegambia Allstars featuring Djamil Thiam, Sidiki Dembele, Sefo Kanuteh and Modou Diouf, Simone Sou and Gandaia Arts, The Anna Mudeka Band, Ballet Nimba, Beats of Polynesia, Bruno Ashley's Mema Arts Choir and Genna Ethiopian Arts and Theatre.
